I got married 3 weeks after high school . Ron and I will be married 40 years on July 8, 2012. We had our first son Ronnie in 1973 and our second son Jimmie in 1975. Being an only child, we moved to Boulder City, Nevada, in 1980 following my parents who had moved here in 1978. I never would have imagined they would die at ages 60 and 62! I have always worked in the medical field. My last job was working for Nevada State Welfare in the blind, aged and disabled department. I approved Medical, food stamps and institutional care. I worked there for 12 years finding myself going on disability in 2005. We have been blessed with 4 wonderful grandchildren and God willing will see our first grandson Michael graduate from High School in 6 weeks. I have had a good life and thank God everyday for my husband Ron! I have been blessed with loyal longtime friends and look forward to connecting with High School friends. I am looking forward to the reunion.

I took the prerequisites for the Registered Nursing program and had A&P and microbiology left. The first day of my A&P class they brought out ringtail cats in a bag that we had to cut up and as that cat resembled my cat at home, I walked out of the class.That was the end of my nursing career. I was lucky to find a Dr. that trained me back office but, found out my place was in the front office.

I went to broadcasting school and did commercials but, the starting pay was less then minimum wage so back to accounting jobs.
